Cast Off Fishing Tournaments

Whether you’re a beginner or an expert angler, join the fun and enjoy a little friendly competition at the Mount Pleasant and Folly Beach Piers’ Cast-Off Tournament series! The Folly Beach Pier stretches out 1045 feet into the ocean and common catches include blue fish, sheepshead, spotted sea trout and whiting.

Registration Information
No preregistration required - simply register onsite the morning of each tournament.
Tournament Fees
- Standard Entry (Ages 13 & up): $12
- Military: $9
- Youth (Ages 3-12): $9
- Seniors (Ages 60+): $9
- Fishing Pass Members: $5
Competition Categories
- Biggest 3 Fish by Weight
- Biggest Youth Catch (12 & under)
- Best 5 Fish Total Weight
Important Information
- Adult chaperone required for all participants ages 15 and under
- Tournaments proceed rain or shine
- Participants may only win in one category
- No smoking, vaping, or tobacco use permitted at any Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission facilities, programs, or events
